How could we forget our mermen! I’ll admit, this blog is centered around mermaids but Mermen are a big part of the Mer-community too. Getting a specific “merman” costume tail is hard online but the good thing there are plenty of “mermaid” tails to choose from. I recommend this one below as most mermaid tail skirts tether at the knees and it would be hard to walk.

King Triton and King Neptune Costumes
King triton is pretty easy but you have to be creative with accessories. Get a walking tail skirt, white wig (with beard) and a triton staff. King Neptune is a Roman God but still water themed if you don’t like the idea of a tail.

I had NO IDEA who these were before writing this post. Mermaid man and barnacle boy are fictional characters off of the show Spounge Bob Square Pants. If you have kids you probably know who these guys are.
